During the Invade the Fort Dallas Brew Bus, I was the photographer and videographer. My Black Rapid Double Breathe strap was working overtime. Beer adventures like these are my favorite.
In a situation where you are pulling double duty, you need to find a process that works best for you. I personally try to capture 65% video and 45% photography when on a dual-shooting job. Know when the important transitions will happen and be as ready to react as you can be.
